Every domain is pushed with businesses competing with each other by creating highly engaging websites and apps from hospitality and retail, manufacturing to the education sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Web Development?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Web development refers to the design or programming of the code that enables the functionality of the site to be tailored to the needs of the owner. Web development ranges from simple web page creation to complex web-based applications, social networking applications, and e-business applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most web developers use Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript to develop websites. Commonly we can categories the developers according to three layers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Front End Development<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In front-end development concerns the features that are easily accessible and directly visible by the end-user. So in here, people get experience upon website loadings and interface, such as user-friendliness and aesthetics, are done by front end developers. If simply says, they incorporate the visual components that can be seen in the websites, including buttons, navigation, and other aspects. The challenge with front-end development is that the tools and technology used to create the front-end of a website are constantly changing. The purpose of designing a website is to ensure that when users open the website, the information is easy to read and relevant. This is further complicated by the fact that users are now using different devices with different screen sizes and resolutions, forcing the designer to consider these factors when designing a website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back End Development<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Back-end development processing in the behind-the-scenes of websites and focuses on server-side logic and integration for web applications. It is everything that users do not see and contains behind-the-scenes activities that take place when performing any activity on a website. The back of a website is a collection of servers, applications, and databases. These running code written by background developers allows browsers to communicate with databases and store data in the database, read data from the database, and also update and delete data or information from the database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full Stack Web Development<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A full-stack web developer is a person who can develop both client and server software. However, full-stack developers have a broader scope and knowledge of stack-based frameworks and various programming languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Database technology<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Websites also depend on database technology. The database contains all the files and content which is needed to run a website, and making it easy to retrieve, organize, edit, and save. The database operates on a server, and most websites typically use some form of Contact Database Management System (RDBMS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Difference between Web Design and Web Development<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Web development supports the functional aspects of the websites, such as servers and applications. Web development is the process of encoding a website to create the desired design using CSS, MTML, JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, and other programming languages. There are back-end developers who focus on the infrastructure of a site or web application (hosting, security, etc.), there are front-end developers who focus on the functionality of the site\/app, and there are full-stack developers that work on both front-end and back-end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Website design with the look or feel of a website – or grandeur. That is, the web design meets color schemes, fonts, drops, scroll bars, and tangents. Web design is basically the functionality from a user\u2019s perspective and the visual look of a website. Web designers often work in design software such as Figo or Adobe XD to provide a visually appealing user experience. They then hand those designs off to developers. Web application and website design involve UX designers and visual designers using their skill sets to make wireframes, mockups, design systems, color palettes, templates, and more to help developers build the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do developers do?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The role of a web developer is to create and maintain websites. Web developers can work from home or independently, and specific tasks and responsibilities vary depending on whether they work as a front, background, or full-color developer.
